Monarch S-LP is a private practice serving children with speech and language needs in Ancaster, Hamilton and surrounding areas.
We provide in-home comprehensive assessment and evidence based therapy in a fun, stimulating learning environment.
We take a family centred approach and include parents and caregivers in all sessions.
Assessment
Monarch SLP provides comprehensive assessment of speech and language skills. During an assessment session your child’s speech and language skills will be evaluated informally during play and observation. Formal, standardized testing may also be completed. A case history will be obtained via interview with the parent/caregiver.
Therapy
Therapy goals will be set in conjunction with family/caregivers. Communication goals will be functional speech, language and/or social communication goals. Goals are specific and measured during every therapy session. We use evidence based treatment approaches that are stimulating, fun, and include your child’s interests.
Consultation
Monarch supports requests to consult with other professionals who may work with your child. (e.g. daycare providers or other therapists.)
